Key findings

Screen reader users encounter obstacles before they have even configured the settings: the form fields for entering phone number and confirmation code are not correctly labelled. The keyboard cannot be used to trigger a test alarm; this process works with the screen reader. However, users do not receive a message informing them whether or not the action has been successful. Sharing a live location works with the screen reader. In the section ‘Finding a landing site and instructing rescue helicopters’ there are important graphics with visual information only, so they are not accessible for a blind person. Text size cannot be adjusted everywhere and minimum contrast requirements are not met or barely met in some places.
