Key findings

The settings area is structured using semantic headings and the switches are clearly described, which makes the settings easy to use even with screen readers. It is feasible to plan and run meetings with the methods tested. A lot of things can be operated with the keyboard, even if the control is not intuitive at all points. Activating the ‘Connect Device’ button activates WebEx device search and completely blocks operation of the app. Screen reader users are not informed of this process and can only end the device search by closing the app. The app is generally only usable in portrait format, but can be used in landscape format for calls. The additional options during a call are only read out with the screen reader as ‘more,’ which is not informative enough. Text size can in principle be adjusted, but enlargement causes overlapping in a number of cases. All in all, the contrasts meet the requirements.
