Key findings

The settings area of the app can be operated with assistive technologies. Most of the news articles are correctly implemented, with some flaws in the semantic structure. Bookmarks can be handled without any issue. The news ticker is also read out logically by the screen reader, while other information, such as the number of search results, is not read out. The videos can be controlled, but the video player controls disappear after a few seconds, making it difficult to access them via keyboard. The contrast ratios meet the requirements overall. The text size can be adjusted to the extent necessary, except for a few exceptions.
