Key findings

On the app’s homepage there are many switches that are either unlabelled or insufficiently labelled. The weather report and forecasts can be studied with screen readers too, but it is difficult to determine the forecast for a certain time because the temperature values and times are mixed up. For the information on pollen, there is a hidden alternative text ‘not readable by screen readers,’ which is not an acceptable solution. In addition, some elements are not accessible or operable with a screen reader. For some maps, the contrasts are insufficient and information is only conveyed using colour. A heading structure is available. However, this could be improved on – e.g. on the main page – in order to further improve the structure of the content.
