Key findings

The app is almost completely accessible in the areas tested. The settings and the various features of the app are easy to use with both the screen reader and alternative input methods such as a keyboard. The focus order is logical, switches are correctly labelled and labels and headings are implemented in such a way that screen reader users can find their way around the app. The announcements at stations are read out by the screen reader, but sometimes the readout switches back and forth between two nearby waiting trains. An option to select a train might be helpful here. In the contact form, the message field is marked as mandatory, but there is no visual indication if the field is left empty. The adjustability of the text size meets the requirements with a few exceptions. All features can be used in landscape format, too.
