Abacus Research AG is an owner-managed Swiss software company that employs around 700 people. The company has been successfully developing business ERP software for over 35 years – particularly in the areas of finance, human resources, administration, and sales, as well as production and services.
Abacus was founded in 1985 by three University of St. Gallen graduates who are currently still active in the company. Abacus is now the largest and most successful independent Swiss provider of business software for KMUs. As always, the software company’s goal is to develop both innovative and relevant products.
The technological solutions support companies in their own digital transformation and create free spaces that Abacus customers can then use for personal, human interactions their clientèle. In addition, Abacus is present in Germany with offices in Munich, Hamburg and Stuttgart.
